About Us

Creabilis is an emerging European specialty pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology. Creabilis discovers, develops and commercialises new medicines for a range of skin disorders, - an area of significant unmet medical need and high commercial potential.

The Company was founded in 2003 by Silvano Fumero and Alfredo Boni and is located in the Bioindustry Park del Canavese, Ivrea, Italy. It recently raised €20 million in a Series A funding round from two global venture capital firms, Sofinnova Partners (lead investor) and NeoMed Management. Both of these investors have significant experience and a highly successful history of life science investments.

Creabilis has an exceptional track record in dermatological research and has used this experience to generate a rich pipeline of clinical and pre-clinical drug candidates that the company will market directly or in partnership. The most advanced products are CT327 for the treatment of psoriasis and CT200 which is being developed for the treatment of Behçet's Disease. Both of these products will enter Phase II clinical trials in 2008. Creabilis' pipeline also includes a number of pre-clinical drug candidates arising from its ground breaking drug discovery programmes.
