Targets

Creabilis focuses its drug discovery and development efforts primarily on a group of interrelated drug targets which play an important role in inflammatory processes and are implicated in dermatological conditions. These targets include HMGB-1, RAGE, TrkA and other kinases. Creabilis has developed a deep understanding of the mechanism of action of these proteins and this has provided the insight to develop a number of the innovative programs within the Creabilis pipeline. For example, CT327 inhibits the activity of the nerve growth factor (NGF) receptor TrkA to reduce the proliferation of keratinocytes and the CT637 program targets HMGB-1/RAGE interaction to modify inflammatory responses.
